For many people, charitable giving is its own reward. The opportunity to be an instrument of change - to improve society by helping a worth while organization to meet identified needs - is one that will be compensated by our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. Nevertheless, it is appropriate to recognize distinctive levels of giving.
The Bishop's Circle of the Annual Catholic Appeal offers individuals a special opportunity to accept a leadership role in giving - one that truly sets an example for others to follow. By making a pledge of $1000 or more to the Annual Catholic Appeal, donors become members of the Bishop's Circle. Donors can make contributions at the
Circle Member level ($1,000 to $2,499), the Benefactor level ($2,500 to $4,999) or the Bishop's Guild level ($5,000 and over).
For the 2007 Annual Catholic Appeal, 400 donors became members of the Bishop's Circle. Bishop Skylstad wishes to thank them and the other Appeal donors for their generosity in support of his ministry throughout the Diocese. They have responded as members of the Body of Christ.
